PostBump helps users create, schedule, and publish content to connected social media accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request deletion of your data.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, login details, business/profile information, uploaded media, captions, hashtags, links, drafts, scheduled posts, support messages, and account settings.

When you connect a third-party account, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Dropbox, or OneDrive, PostBump may receive information allowed by that platform and the permissions you approve. This may include account IDs, usernames, profile information, pages or business accounts you manage, access tokens, refresh tokens, permissions, publishing status, post errors, and related platform data.

We may also collect basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, log data, cookies, session data, pages visited, and usage activity.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate PostBump, create and manage accounts, connect social media accounts, schedule and publish posts, store drafts and media, troubleshoot posting errors, provide support, improve the service, protect security, prevent abuse, comply with legal or platform requirements, and enforce our Terms of Use.

PostBump does not sell your personal information.

PostBump does not use data received from connected social media accounts to build advertising profiles or sell user data.

3. Connected Social Media Accounts

When you connect a social media account, you authorize PostBump to use that connection to provide the features you request, such as viewing basic account information, storing authorization tokens, uploading media, publishing scheduled posts, and retrieving posting status or errors.

Your use of third-party platforms remains subject to their own terms, privacy policies, platform rules, and account requirements. PostBump does not control those platforms.

You may disconnect a social media account from PostBump or revoke access directly through the third-party platform. If you disconnect an account, PostBump will no longer be able to publish to that account.

4. Uploaded Media and Scheduled Content

PostBump may store images, videos, captions, hashtags, links, drafts, scheduled posts, published post records, failed post records, media URLs, and related content that you upload or create.

You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to upload, schedule, publish, or share any content through PostBump.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide the service, including:

• With connected social media platforms when publishing or managing posts you request

• With service providers that help us operate PostBump, such as hosting, storage, email, payment, analytics, backup, and security providers

• When required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or enforcement purposes

• If PostBump is involved in a merger, sale, acquisition, financing, or similar business transfer

6. Cookies

PostBump may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, improve site performance, protect security, and understand service usage.

You can adjust cookie settings in your browser, but some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. Data Retention

We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to provide PostBump, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, enforce agreements, and meet platform requirements.

Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited time after deletion from active systems.

8. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your PostBump account data by emailing:

Please include your name, PostBump account email address, the connected platform involved if applicable, and a clear request for deletion.

After verifying your request, we will delete or de-identify personal information unless we need to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, backup, or compliance reasons.

If you connected Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or another third-party platform, you may also revoke PostBump’s access directly through that platform’s account settings.

9. Meta/Facebook/Instagram Data Deletion

If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account to PostBump, you may request deletion of data received from Meta platforms by emailing:

Include your PostBump account email address and the connected Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Meta account involved.

PostBump will delete or de-identify Meta platform data associated with your account unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or compliance reasons.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including account and connected-platform data. However, no website, server, database, API connection, or internet transmission is completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected social media accounts secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

PostBump is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above.

Your continued use of PostBump after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
